We see patients by appointment Monday though Friday from 9:00 a.m. To 6:00 p.m. Your first visit may
take from 45 minutes to an hour so please allow for this time. Since your appointment time is reserved
especially for you, please let us know at least 24 hours ahead of time if you are unable to keep the
appointment. That courtesy will better allow us to serve our other patients. |
| Frequency of Examinations |

Doctor Hutchinson recommends annual eye examinations for everyone. He also recommends that screening
visual field tests be performed at least every two years and photographs of the inside of the eyes
taken at least every four years. |
| Insurance |
|
We are on the panel of many insurance companies. Our highest priority is to provide you with the best
eyecare and eyewear. Unfortunately, your insurance company may have other priorities. Rest assured
that we will always recommend to you the same excellent care that we desire for all of our patients.

Hutchinson, O.D. and his gracious staff have been dedicated to serving the North County community’s eye care needs
for over 25 years. Our mission is to provide superior eye care service to every person who walks through our door.
We firmly believe in keeping our patients informed and happy while protecting their precious gift of sight.
To meet these goals, we utilize state-of-the art technology, offer the best in ophthalmic materials, and provide
personalized service to each and every valuable patient. Our highly trained and amicable staff is devoted to fostering
lifelong relationships with our patients by continually exceeding their expectations.
Dr. Hutchinson is a distinguished professional in the field of optometry. In addition to his 25 years of dedication
to his patients and active role in the community, he has authored a book titled Computer Eye Stress. He also developed
Clear Chart (formerly called AcuityMax), which is a high-tech visual acuity chart for computers. This innovative
ophthalmic instrument is used nationwide by leading eye care professionals. He also holds a patent on an eye chart,
which will enable communication with deaf patients while they are seated behind the refractor having their prescription
